Since starting his training in 1989 at Attitudes Dance Studio, in the styles of Jazz, Tap and Neo-Classical, Andrew has a number of achievements to his name. After studying Certificate III in performing arts at Bartuccio's Dance and Promotions Centre at the age of 16, it wasn't long before Andrew was dancing professionally. Some of his career highlights include "The Wog Boy" (feature film), "Godspell" (musical) "TV Week Logie Awards" dancing for Ricky Martin, "Moulin Rouge" feature Film) amongst many others. Andrew was offered a full scholarship to Dance Factory in 1999 but chose to stay with Bartuccio's. Andrew was later given a government grant from the St. Kilda Arts Department to set up a dance program for under-privileged children; this was the first experience Andrew had in teaching children. Andrew continued working as a professional dancer, but after teaching full time at various schools in Melbourne he realised his passion lay in teaching. This led to his decision to open his own school in Melton. Andrew is frequently invited to choreograph various events and continues to teach for many full-time dance courses throughout Melbourne. With experience from every aspect of dance, Andrew enjoys collaborating with his hand-picked staff and creating the future of dance.
